What we collect

Conversations you have with Hope are logged in a database. This data is used to improve the chatbot’s performance and to draw conclusions about human thinking and current beliefs in the aggregate.

How we identify you

Users are tracked through numerical identifiers, not personally identifying information. If you voluntarily share personal details during a conversation — such as your name, age, gender, or religious affiliation — that information may be recorded for demographic analysis and to personalise your experience with Hope.

What we won’t do

We will not connect logged information to individual users outside of the system, and we will not use any information gathered for any for-profit purpose. This site is non-commercial.

Facebook Messenger users

If you access Hope through Facebook Messenger, your Facebook profile name is not visible to the page administrators.
